The Students' Corner is back

This year's first post at the Students' Corner is an emotional text by a student who asked to remain anonymous. I hope this student continues to write and hopefully decide to show the world his/her name! Here follows an intense text about deep inner feelings.

'Now you are just a memory, I put all my heart in this, I love you the way I’ve never loved anyone before. The feeling when your harms are around me, the warmth and the security that one simple hug from you gives me…
I still remember the first time we hugged: I lost all the worries and all the sadness I have! It seemed like I was hugging you for hours, days, but at the same time it seemed just seconds because I wanted more…
Looking for your eyes, the bright inside of them… You don’t need words, just your eyes and your smile says that you love me. It’s amazing how I feel when I am with you, when I just think about you. It’s hard to stay away from you but its harder to be with you, knowing that you’re afraid of getting hurt again.
When I lost you, a big part of me died, I lost myself in the path back home (because home is where your heart is), I think I will never find myself again and I think you will never come back to the corner when we first met, the corner where you left me and where my soul is since then in the dark.
It’s sad because I lost the girl I loved the most, but it’s sadder because I lost myself and my soul in that place… '

  1. I share with you a poem by William Blake, hoping that the subject doesn't diverge too much from the chosen topics and that you like it!

    A Dream

Once a dream did weave a shade
    O'er my angel-guarded bed,
That an emmet lost its way
Where on grass methought I lay.

    Troubled, wildered, and forlorn,
    Dark, benighted, travel-worn,
    Over many a tangle spray,
All heart-broke, I heard her say:

'Oh my children! do they cry,
Do they hear their father sigh?
Now they look abroad to see,
Now return and weep for me.'

    Pitying, I dropped a tear:
    But I saw a glow-worm near,
    Who replied, 'What wailing wight
Calls the watchman of the night?

'I am set to light the ground,
While the beetle goes his round:
    Follow now the beetle's hum;
    Little wanderer, hie thee home!'

    William Blake

    1. it's really an amazing poem.
in this world a lot of people are lost without find their way to home, without knowing what we are doing in this world.
unfortunately i can't hear sigh for the father because sound do not propagate in the vacuo...
the glow-worm have their own light, but one day the natural curse will shut down that light like us, our light just shut down sometimes, we find ourself in a dark place but in other times like me, i just get lost...

but thanks for sharing with me this amazing poem and i hope you like my text
