It's been a while since I last used prezi in class!... Prezi is different, and it is now easier to create fantastic zooming presentations. The prezi that follows was created by me to use in a 10th form class about 'The Technological World'. The students had read a text in the previous lesson - 'Robots Craze' (source: The Most Amazing Inventions, Time) and some of them didn't realize that such a robot really exists... This presentation aimed to show them not only the existence of iCat but also to practise vocabulary on facial expressions and emotions, as well as, to improve their listening-comprehension skills.
I do recommend the use of this tool in class. Students love it as it grabs their attention and makes them want to speak and comment about what is shown in the pictures/video!... Feel free to copy this prezi and use it in your classes!...
